Design marketing pieces and maintain web site for Ramshaw Real Estate which manages over 2,000 Champaign-Urbana apartments.
Sports Publishing, L.L.C.
Marketing/Production Graphic Designer, January 2002 to September 2007
As the marketing/production graphic designer, I was in charge of creating all marketing and advertising pieces, including brochures, press releases, online ads, newspaper and magazine ads. Other responsibilities included creating the seasonal catalogs. Designed over 100 dust jacket book covers and dozens of full-color photo inserts, and several interior book layouts. Primary software included Freehand MX, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

Freelance design services working with a variety of clients, including:
- The Real Estate Book
Designed publications for Champaign-Urbana, Greater Peoria, and Indianapolis North/South. These magazines ranged from 30 to 100 pages per issue. Primary software used QuarkXPress and Photoshop.
- Sagamore Publishing, L.L.C.
Created Sagamore Publishing's seasonal catalog bi-annually. Primary software used Freehand MX and Photoshop.
- Falcon Family Eye Care
Colorado-based eye care practice. Produced marketing materials and advertisements to announce the grand opening of the office.
- Savoy Recreation Center
Developed logos for this recreation center in Savoy, Illinois.
- IpHorgan Intellectual Property Lawyers
Designed an identity package for this intellectual property law firm out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Package included logo design, letterhead, business cards, and web site.
Vacutron Technologies Corporation
Web/Graphic Design Consultant, September 2002 to September 2004
Responsible for producing Vacutron's web site and conference materials, including flyers, handouts, and posters. The web site involved HTML coding, user interface design, and working with Flash animations to demonstrate the product's abilities.
Scient Corporation
Visual Designer, June 2000 to August 2000
Played a key role in developing Scient's Sales Presentation System. This involved revamping a series of diagrams and presentation slides which are used to familiarize clients and new employees with Scient's core business beliefs and values. The goal was to give the new sales presentation a unified aesthetic look and to simplify and redefine Scient's visual language for more direct communication. Also designed and implemented Scient's intranet. The process involved creating graphics to be used on the web and working with scripts, rollovers, and DHTML.
Beckman Institute
